Women who understand their business value and take steps to increase it have the ability to lead in business. Being punctual, competent, and professional is not enough anymore as the world shrinks and access to talent increases. To step out from the pack and be noticeable by clients, colleagues, and management, you need to know first how to determine your professional value and then how to take the steps required to increase your professional value on a regular basis.

Building your own business value requires three specific actions on your part:
•    Building your reputation
•    Developing a specialized skill set
•    Building a strong network

This session, led by the visionary and self-proclaimed "Alpha Male" Christopher Flett, will show you how to excel in these three areas. See first hand the proven business system that Flett and his fellow 'Ghost CEOs' (www.ghostceo.com) have implemented with over 4,000 professionals across the globe. Be an insider to the conversations that happen in the boardroom when discussing staff or vendors, what your boss really values in your position, and how you can master your career or business by implementing very simple points into your daily routine. The reason some excel while others feel stuck is because this information is not accessible to everyone. AWC is making sure our members are part of that insider group.

Christopher Flett
Christopher Flett is an interesting contradiction in terms. A resoundingly alpha male, he focuses primarily on working with women in business. Christopher is a man with a private pass into some of the most powerful offices in North America and spends his time working with entrepreneurs and business owners to help them open doors for themselves. A self-avowed profiteer, he invests much of his time, money and effort working with individuals, groups and communities to make the world a better place. For more than a decade, Christopher has cut a path of success throughout corporate North America as an untraditional business leader.

The author of the best selling book, “What Men Don't Tell Women About Business” (Wiley & Sons 2007), spends much of his year working on leveling the playing field in business by sharing with women many of the things that men discuss when they aren't in the room. Find out what BusinessWeek magazine referred to him as the 'Shock Jock of Business Management" in his blunt and direct style.
