Have you ever experienced any of the following?
  • Your team is constantly under scrutiny to justify itself
  • You know your work is important, but it just doesn't seem to be appreciated
  • You wonder if they keep you and your team around because everyone is supposed to do that user experience thing, but they really don't want to use the results
  • Others are interested, even enthusiastic about what you are doing, but it doesn't translate into results or support
Join this fun, free interactive workshop to develop the skills you need to sell your ideas, designs, and recommendations. This workshop is for you if you are a designer engaged in design research, usability assessment, user experience and interaction design, visual design, service and product design, or related disciplines. Learn to avoid the common mistakes that designers make in representing their work, and learn the basics of selling your ideas in this workshop.

Tom Rideout and Mike Northcott of Spearfish Innovation will take you through the basics of the sales process, then using an Innovation Game ®, you will get hands-on experience improving your skills. As a bonus, you will learn how to play an innovation game that can also be used for generating customer insights.
